ASPI records 100 percent growth

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) All Share Price Index (ASPI) has recorded a 100 percent growth upto date.

Speaking to the Daily News Business, Colombo Stock Exchange Business Development Manager Thushara Jayaratne said the ASPI started the year at 3,385.6 points and it has reached 6,772.4 points.

He said the index has gone up by 3,386.8 points or 100 percent from January this year.

The Milanka Price Index (MPI) closed at 7,166.07 moving up by 110.13 points as against the previous day. CdeS
