Seminar to discuss Fa-Hsien Thera's visit

Sri Lanka-China Friendship Association will conduct a seminar on Sri Lanka-China historical relationship inaugurated by the visit of Ven Fa-Hsien Thera at 4.30 p.m. today at the Mahaweli Centre to commemorate the 1,600th anniversary of the famous Chinese monk's visit to Sri Lanka.

The Highlight of today's seminar will be the keynote address by Most Ven Udugama Sri Buddharakkhita Maha Nayake Thera, the Mahanayake of Asgiriya Chapter of the Siyam Mahanikaya.

Most Ven Maduluwawe Sobhitha Nayake Thera and Dr Praneeth Abeyasundera will also address the gathering.

Chinese Ambassador in Sri Lanka, Yang Xiuping and Most Ven Dr Yuan Ci of the Buddhist Association of China will also participate.
