Police College, Kalutara - cricket champions

The annual all island police inter-division cricket tourney for the J. R. Jayewardene Trophy was played in Colombo recently.

The final match was played between Colombo Central Division and Sri Lanka Police College Kalutara cricket team at Kalutara police grounds.

The Kalutara Police College cricket team won by six wickets. They scored 118 runs for 4 wickets in 28 overs having bowled out the opponent for 117 runs.

The man of the match was P. C. Priyadharshana while the Best Bowler was P. C. Jayatilaka for taking 4 wickets for 16 in 10 overs.

The match was held under the patronage of DIG Ravi Wijegunawardana at Sri Lanka Police College grounds recently.
