Three Tigers arrested in India

Three LTTE men were arrested and 4,900 detonators, apart from 430 electric detonators, were seized from them, at Tiruchy in Chennai, India Sunday.

The Q-branch police had picked up Chiranjeevi, who belongs to the intelligence wing of the LTTE, June 16.

Based on his confession, the team also nabbed Siva, also attached to the intelligence wing of the Tigers.

Siva, who had not registered with any refugee camp, as per the rules, after coming to Chennai, had instead contacted Erode-based Selvam, an LTTE sympathiser, and Tamil, another LTTE operative.
