No shortage of TNT

There is no shortage of TNT tablets which are used by patients with heart ailments and TNT required for the next seven and half months have been provided to all State hospitals. The Health Ministry Medical Supplies Division (MSD) has 1.8 million TNT tablets, a Health Ministry spokesman said.

He said 1.8 million TNT tablets are adequate for another one and a half months and therefore TNT tablets required for the next nine months are in the country. The public should not be panic due to inaccurate news reports published by certain newspapers and other media coating a doctor.
