ANCL lights up Mihintale for 48th time

The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (Lake House) will organize for the 48th time the Aloka Pooja on a grand scale at Mihintale from June 24 to 26. Abans and the Ceylon Electricity Board are the main sponsors of the event.

The Aloka Pooja on June 24 will be held under the patronage of Power and Energy Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka and North Central Province Chief Minister Berty Premalal Dissanayake.

The June 25 ceremony will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister and Buddhasasana and Religious Affairs Minister D M Jayaratne and Mass Media and Information Minister Keheliya Rambukwella. The June 26 ceremony will be held under the patronage of Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd Chairman Bandula Padmakumara and Ceylon Electricity Board Chairman Vidya Amarapala.
