Dr Anil Jasinghe elected CMASL President

Kalubovila Teaching Hospital Director Dr Anil Jasinghe was
unanimously elected as the College of Medical Administrators of Sri
Lanka (CMASL) President at the 17 Annual Scientific Sessions held on
Monday at the Renuka Hotel in Colombo.
Newly elected President Dr Anil Jasinghe addressing the gathering
thanked all the College members for electing him for the Post of College
President for 2010 -2011.
Dr Jasinghe explained in detail the future plans to maintain the
highest standard of the College for the next two years. Medical
administrators have proven their capacity as better managers who are
dedicated and sensitive to the needs of the country.
"I need your assistance and cooperation to achieve these objectives,"
Dr Jasinghe told the members who were present at the Sessions. Outgoing
College President Dr P G Mahipala, thanked all his colleagues for the
faith entrusted on him and the cooperation extended to him during his
tenure of office as the College President.
Dr S M Samarage was elected as the College Vice President, while Dr
Ms Sujatha Senarathna was elected as the College Assistant Secretary.
Twenty Council members were also elected at the College Sessions held on
Monday.
College Secretary Dr NELW Jayasekera read out the minutes of the last
year's AGM. College Treasurer Dr AKBS De Alwis presented the last year's
budget at the Sessions. |
