Morgan makes light of KP absence as Kiwis exit

England proved there was more to their batting than Kevin Pietersen as they knocked New Zealand out of the World Twenty20 with a three-wicket win here on Monday. Eoin Morgan starred with 40 after England, chasing 150 for victory, had slumped to 66 for four at the Beausejour Stadium.

India’s women into World Twenty20 semi-finals

Lankan women knocked out :

India have won through to the semi-finals of the women’s World Twenty20 and will face Australia in the last four at the Beausejour Stadium here on Thursday. Meanwhile New Zealand, last year’s losing finalists, will be up against hosts the West Indies in the second semi-final at the same venue on Friday after champions England failed to reach the knockout stages.
