Education Minister on inspection tour

Education Minister Bandula Gunawardena visited the Ministry’s Science equipment production unit at Paththalagedara Monday on an inspection tour.

This unit situated near the Veyangoda Siyane National College of Education is used as a wholesale deport for the distribution of sports and science equipment needed by schools.

An Education Ministry release said the Minister who looked into the problems and shortcomings at the stores complex directed officials to streamline its activities by getting rid of all damaged vehicles and equipment.
