Europe accused of over-reacting to ash cloud threat

BELGIUM: Did Europe erupt into panic over the volcanic cloud threat? With flights restrictions set to be eased Tuesday, airlines and the media were asking if officials had over-reacted much as they appeared to have done with the swine flu outbreak.

Defence Minister advocates flexibility

ISRAEL: Israeli Defence Minister and leader of the Labour Party Ehud Barak admitted Monday that it will be impossible to perpetuate occupation and repression in occupied Palestinian territories, and proposed flexibility in the Israeli government.
