National Chamber signs MOU with CCPIT TJ China
The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka signed an MOU with the
China Council for Promotion of International Trade Tianjin Sub Council (CCPIT
TJ) at the National Chamber Secretariat last week.
CCPIT TJ is the largest international economic and trade promotion
organization in Tianjin in the People’s Republic of China. CCPIT TJ is
engaged in developing business and co-operative relationship with
foreign counterparts, international economic and trade organizations,
associations and foreign offices stationed in China.

CCPIT TJ has established a long term and strong relationship with
commercial and industrial organizations and celebrities from more than
100 countries and signed co-operative agreements or MOUs with 81
business promotion institutions. CCPIT TJ has been actively involved in
foreign economic exchange and trade promotion activities and has made a
great contribution in opening Tianjin city with the outside world.
The delegation to the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka was
led by CCPIT TJ Chairman Zhao Xue Ming. Other members of the delegation
were, Tianjian Commission of Commerce Deputy Director Zhao Jian Zhong,
Tianjin Commission of Commerce Vice Chief Li Cheng, CCPIT TJ Director
Zhang Shuang, Tianjin Garment Exports and Imports Inc. Director Wang
Chao Hua, Egypit - TEDA Investment Company General Manager Wei Jian Qing,
Tianjin Jianpeng Hydraulic Mechanical Manufactures General Manager Qi
Ming and China Africa Trade Investment Ltd., Chief Financial Officer Hui
Jiwen.
The MOU was signed by China Council for the Promotion of
International Trade Tianjin Sub Council Chairman Zhao Xue Ming and the
National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka Secretary General E.M.
Wijetilleke on behalf of two organizations.
The two organizations agreed to establish closer co-operation and
strengthen economical, technological and human relations developments
between the two countries for mutual benefits.
Both parties agreed to assist each other in finding potential parties
in trade, economic, industrial, agricultural and technological
co-operation.
The agreement facilitates the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri
Lanka and the CCPIT TJ to organize and participate at exhibitions,
meetings and conferences, exchange delegations and trade missions, bring
business establishments in their region in contact with each other.
