Unemployment rises in Briton

UK: The number of unemployed Britons for over a year increased in February by 61 thousand, which shows the difficulties in the labor market, reported the Office for National Statistics (ONS). It added that the unemployment rate remained stable for the third consecutive month by 7.8 percent, a figure that represents almost two and a half million of unemployed people.

Specialists considered that the level was stable because workers accept lower wages to keep their jobs. The media also reported recently that about 25 thousand employees of the British council will lose their work in the next three years.

Analysts said that instead of increasing layoffs, the administration should implement saving policies. Prensa Latina
