Entries called for VB tourney

The Men and Women Spikers from the Badulla District will get the opportunity of participating in a Volleyball tournament organized by the Sri Lanka Ports Authority Freedom Workers Union on March 31, April 1 and 2 at the Mahaweli Ground at Giradurukotte.

The winner is to receive the Dilan Perera Challenge Trophy and a cash award of Rs. 15,000, while the runner up will be awarded the runner up trophy and a cash prize of Rs.10,000.

Entries should be forwarded to M.R. Madurusinghe, Secretary, Mahiyangana District Volleyball Association, No. 17, Barrier Junction, Giradurukotte on or before March 30.

Players who have participated in the Junior and Senior Nationals in the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 are not eligible to participate in this tournament according to organizers..
