Volleyball tourney

A Volleyball tournament for men and women for the Basil Rajapaksa Trophy organized by the Sri Lanka Ports Authority Freedom Workers Union will take place on April 3, 4 and 5. The tournament is to be conducted at the Davisamara MV Courts.

Players who have participated at Junior and Senior National Championships in the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 are not eligible to play in this tournament.

Applications for the above tournament will be received till March 25 and these entries should be forwarded to Dinal Perera, Chairman, Seeduwa Town Council, Seeduwa.

Winner will receive a cash award of Rs. 50,000 in addition to the trophy while the two runners up teams are to receive Rs.30,000 and 20,000 respectively.
