Piliyandala Central out to give of their best in the Big Match

Piliyandala Central have played 14 matches before the big match against Taxila MMV.

They have won four matches and lost three. They won the big match in 2009 after nine years. 851 runs were scored by Tarindu Madhushanka and 60 wickets were taken by Sameera Chathuranga this season.

Five Coloursmen are there in the current team this season.

The regular openers will be Sajith Meebindu and Gayanga Madhushan. Top order batsmen will be Tharindu Madhushanka, Tharindu Chaturanga, Prabath Sampath with the skipper Pamudita Piyumal.

Up to the seventh batsman can be depended upon and they are all dependable batsmen in any circumstance.

They have three Fast Bowlers in Pamudika Piyumal, Lahiru Dushantha and Nuwan Nilantha and two Off Spinners in Sameera Chathuranga and Tarindu Chathuranga and leg spinner Sajith Meebindu. They have a balanced bowling attack to face any difficult situation.

They have improved in all departments with coaching and the guys are dependable players.

They have a very good Leg Spinner in Sameera Chathuranga.

In six matches so far he has taken 40 wickets. His match bag against St. Thomas' Matara was very impressive - 11 for 75. Their most outstanding batsman is Tarindu Madhushanka with 450 runs to his credit so far.

They hope to win the big match with Taxila MMV this week with greater distinction and promote our Players to Division one having played very well this season with three victories.

The Master-in-change is K. S. A. Dias. Rumesh Perera is the Coach.
