Poll cards ready for distribution

All polling cards for the April 8 General Election are expected to be ready within the next few days. They will be distributed from next week by the Postal Department, an Election Secretariat Official said.

He also said that the poll cards will be handed over to the Postal Department on Monday and will be distributed to the voters until March 31.

The Elections Department has declared March 28 (Sunday) as a special day to distribute poll cards. Poll cards for Northern Province will be distributed under a special process, he said.
