Galle Face Hotel (GFH) won 35 medals at the Culinary Art 2010, Food
and Hotel Show, which held at the BMICH recently.
All Island, the Galle Face Hotel came in the second place, at this
show.
'This is a great achievement for the Galle Face Hotel', Leisure
Division Vice President and Galle Face Hotel General Manager Chandra
Mohotti said.
Five gold medals were won in 'Plated Dessorts' by Asoka Sanjeewa,
while Ahangama won the 'Butter Sculpture' medal, Jagath Nilantha won the
'Hot Cooking' medal and Shehan Grigson won the 'Creative Coffee
Competition and Arrack Cocktail' awards.
The Kitchen Brigade led by Executive Chef, Haleesha Weerasinghe won
nine Silver medals and 21 Bronze Medals. |
