Singer Homes constantly unveils new furniture lines that reflect the needs and desires of its customers. In the last few months Singer Homes has introduced three new sofa lines, including the affordable Araliya sofa set, the coolly sophisticated Venice sofa set, and the chic new Kelly sofa set. All of their sofa ranges are designed for today's customer and adhere to the highest standards of Signer style, functionality and durability.

The furniture superstore also offers elegant wardrobes, bedroom suites, and dining room suites. Customers with children will be delighted by the extensive range of children's bedroom suites on display.

All these suites are artfully arranged in situ, along with a complete range of home and office accessories, from TV stands and shoe racks to printer stands and correspondence trays. Everything on display is also on sale, meaning that customers don't have to wait for stocks to arrive or for new furniture to be built.

Before going on display, however, every single piece of furniture is individually inspected by the Singer's Quality Control team to ensure that customers get only the very best.

Customers of Singer Homes can also avail themselves of flexible, affordable easy payment options.

At Singer Homes, customers can also opt for a Lay-By payment option, where they can pay an initial deposit, followed by regular repayments, receiving their furniture purchase when full payment has been made.

With no increase in price while payment is ongoing, these payment options are ideal in these times of financial stress. Customers have the freedom to choose their own down payment and monthly payment amounts.

This flexible approach can also be seen in the furniture superstore's pantry offerings.

Customers can select from a wide range of cupboards and worktops that are custom-built to blend in with existing decor and furniture.

Singer Homes employs an experienced team of professionals to design and install pantry furniture, free.

Amana Takaful steers home insurance

Amana Takaful recently gave fresh impetus to its home insurance product, “My Home”, with an additional enhanced accident cover in a bid to promote the importance of home insurance in Sri Lanka. “The market for home security is growing tremendously in Sri Lanka and mainly centred in urban areas.

The main drive for home security comes not only from the need to secure the safety of our loved ones but also to safeguard our belongings that mean so much to us. Insurance comes as an obvious need as it not only gives you peace of mind but it also provides the financial support you need to get things back in order”, said Amana Takaful PLC Head of Technical Kester Amarasinghe.

“Insurance is almost the last concern in anyone’s shopping list and home insurance is mostly off many people’s radar. However, little do we realize that risks at home have the greatest affect on our lives and feelings”, said Amarasinghe. Therefore, we intend taking this message to our customers and potentials through a campaign of education that we believe will surely help increase the importance we place on our homes”, he said. “However, we have helped many of our customers who have seen their belongings damaged due to lightning strikes and sudden explosions which encourages us to cover people as much as possible,” said Amana Takaful PLC General Manager Sales and Distribution Nazeem Ghafoor. “Security systems are really meant for warning purposes but the true need is to recover what is lost and that is a loss that is worth safeguarding against,” he said. Amana Takaful My Home, is loaded with covers that safeguard against more than ten natural disasters, fire and damages caused by it and due to it, burglary, alternative accommodation, loss of rent, architect’s, surveyor’s and engineer’s fees and many more. Policies are also provided for additional reasons other than safety. Home insurance is required to obtain housing loans from financial institutions and with confidence building in the country there is a growing need for loans.
