Appointed Chairman
Ajith Kodagoda, Consel for Sri Lanka in the Fiji Islands, has been
appointed as the Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) Chairman.
The largest financial institution in Fiji, managing the National
Pension Fund, it controls over 3.5bn dollars of Investments.
The appointment was made by the Fiji Prime Minister J.V. Bainimarama,
in his capacity as Finance Minister.
Kodagoda continues his work as the Chief Financial Officer of C.J
Patel and Co, the largest FMCG Company in Fiji.
He has been working in fiji since 1992, and is an Associate Member of
the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, and also holds the
MBA from the Post Graduate Institute of Management-University of Sri
Jayewardenepura.
He was educated at Ananda College, Colombo.
