England in command
Graeme Swann grabbed five wickets to bowl England into a commanding
position in the opening Test against Bangladesh on Sunday. The
off-spinner finished with 5-90 in his fifth five-wicket haul as the
hosts were bowled out for 296 in their first innings in reply to the
tourists' mammoth 599-6 declared.
England, who did not enforce the follow-on, were 131-5 in their
second innings at stumps on the third day for an overall lead of 434.
The tourists lost skipper Alastair Cook (39), debutant Michael Carberry
