No UNP vote for Fonseka - Abdul Cader

Kandy District former UNP Parliamentarian A. R. M. Abdul Cader said not a single UNP vote will be allowed to be cast in favour of the Sarath Fonseka’s group at the General Election.

At the Presidential Election, substantial number of Muslim votes went in favour of Fonseka. This time such Muslim votes will not go to the group representing Fonseka.

In the future, the UNP will never change its symbol ‘elephant’ at any election nor will it extend its support to any other party with a different symbol other than ‘elephant.’

The party constitution too will take appropriate action against anyone in the UNP supporting the group represented by Sarath Fonseka, Cader said.
