Three Kovils and a number of sports clubs in Vakarai will be rebuilt

National Integration and Reconciliation Minister Vinayagamurthi Muralitharan presided a distribution of material to reconstruct the war ravaged Kiran and Vakarai.

Three Kovils-Siththi Vinaayaga Aalayam, Maha Kaali Amma Aalayam, Vandarammulam Maha Vishnu Aalayam and a number of sports clubs in Vakarai and surrounding areas were the beneficiaries.

The Minister also made steps to gather information from the people on their needs and issues. Batticaloa UPFA candidate, Satyawardena together with other UPFA politicians and members of women's societies participated.
