Popular teledrama and film actor Amila Abeysekera entered the role of
husband as he said "I do" to Theja Jayawardana, an Emirates Airlines air
stewardess. Theja hails from Deniyaya and is a past pupil of Sacred
Heart Convent, Galle.
A lot of renowned figures in the industry took part in the function
to share the joyous occasion with the couple. Nadeesha Hemamali, Kishani
Alanki and Theja's sister Nayanathara were the bride's maids while Suraj
Mapa, Saranga Dissasekara and cricketer Chamara Kapugedara were the best
men. Dhananjaya Bandara dressed the bride. The wedding took place at
Galadari Hotel.
