National Archives calls for election literature

The Department of National Archives requests all candidates contesting the General Election to send election literature published by them to the Department of National Achives.

According to the paragraph 13(1) (e) of National Achives Act No 48 of 1973 candidates of any election (either by a party or an individual) to abide by law to handover or to send any election literature published by them which include manifestos, notices, posters and pictures within 30 days of publication.

A huge collections of election literature that have been issued in different elections since 1930s are available in the Department of National Archives.
