Royal take major honours
Royal College, Colombo gained a first innings
win over St. Sebastian’s College in their inter-school Under 19
cricket match played at De Soysa Stadium, Moratuwa yesterday.
Batting first visitors piled up 294 runs for 8 declared with Sri
Lanka Schools cricketer Banuka Rajapakse hitting a scincilating 132
runs including fourteen hits to the ropes and five over in 139
balls. He was associated in a 154 run partnership for the third
wicket with Chanaka Bogoda who made 84 runs.
