Cambrians on top

Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa has already gained a first innings win over Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa in their inter-school under 19 cricket match at Moratuwa.

Cambrians were all out for 178 runs with last week's centurion Shehan Jayasuriya top scoring with 85 runs. In reply visitors were bowled out for 115 with Buddhika de Alwis returning figures of 7 for 21.

Prince of Wales 178 in 42.5 overs (Shehan Jayasuriya 85, Malshan Mendis 21 n.o., Shahin Meritaz 5 for 26, Sineth Kalhara 2 for 67, Sineth Mathara 2 for 67).

Joseph Vaz 115 in 46.5 overs (Ashan Raminga 23, Buddhika de Alwis 7 for 21, Shehan Jayasuriya 2 for 28).
