Special training for non-graduate teachers

The Education Ministry has selected a batch of 7,800 non-graduate teachers for special training under its program to improve quality in the Education, said Ministry's Commissioner in-charge of the Colleges of Education unit Y.A.N.D. Yapa.

He said this training program would be conducted over two and a half years as a weekend course at 42 centres countrywide in the Sinhala and Tamil languages.
