Junior tennis finals today

The five-day pre-qualifying round of the Asia/Oceanic, Junior Davis Cup and, the World Junior Tennis Competition reached its penultimate stage at the SLTA yesterday.

There were keenly contested matches in the Junior Davis Cup, where in the first semi-final Indonesia beat Syria 3-0 in the following semi-final, Kazakhstan defeated Sri Lanka 2-1.

In the (5-7) placement tie, Singapore beat Saudi Arabia 3-0.

In the World Junior Tennis Competition Malaysia beat Syria 3-0, whilst Sri Lanka triumphed over Saudi Arabia 3-0.

The two tournaments reach its final stages today.
