Buddhist Research and Cultural Centre, Peradeniya

Sri Subadrarama International Buddhist Centre Peradeniya will set up a Buddhist Research and Cultural Centre to spread the noble message of Theravada Buddhism to the world.

The first step in this connection is the establishment of the "Siri Subodha Buddhist Books and Information Centre". The opening ceremony of this centre located at the first floor of the Sathosa Building complex in the Peradeniya town will take place at 3.00 p.m. February 28 under the chairmanship of the most Venerable Aggamaha Panditha Teripene Somananda Maha Nayaka Thera, the Head of the Udarata Amarapura sect.

Venerable members of the Maha Sangha and Plantation Industries Minister D.M. Jayaratna, Central Province Governor Tikiri Kobbekaduwa will attend.
