North Korea in resounding win
North Korea took the top spot in Group B of the
AFC Challenge Cup 2010 when they outplayed India by three goals to
nil at the Sugathadasa Stadium yesterday. Korea came to the field as
hot favourites with a good record in the past two games which also
assured them of a semi final berth.

Lankan shuttlers for Thomas and Uber Cup tourneys
Top shuttlers including Niluka Karunarathne,
Dinuka Karunarathne, Thilini Jayasinghe will represent Sri Lanka in
the all important Thomas and Uber Cups which would be worked off
from February 22 to 28 in Bangkok, Thailand. Asia’s best shuttlers
would be seen in action throughout the six days as they would vie
for a place in the Thomas and Uber Cup.
