UPFA nominations on February 25, 26

The UPFA has already completed its nomination lists in several districts. Nominations will be handed over on February 25 and 26, Media Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena said.

If there’s security threat:

MPs security could be restored

Though the former Parliamentarians’ security is withdrawn till the general election is over, if any one of them has a security threat, it can be restored on the instructions of Inspector General of Police Mahinda Balasuriya, Media Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena said.
