Take note of the US actions against terrorists

The United States of America is fighting a very unconventional war against radical Islamic terrorists. They will never compromise their national security. They will do whatever it takes to destroy these malefic people who are hell bent on harming American interests around the world.

President Obama continues to take even tougher action against terrorist cells in Pakistan and Afghanistan and other places such as the highly volatile Somalia.

Some of the actions that have been intensified in their fight against terrorists include.

1. Increased Predator Drone strikes with a significant increase in frequency since he took office. As a result there are more civilian casualties as well. America calls those civilian casualties an unfortunate by product and it is what is known as “collateral damage”.

2. They have inducted quite secretively, special ops forces and security contractors from the controversial company knows as Blackwater/Xe into Pakistan. These groups do not have to abide by rules of engagement that regular armed forces have to abide by. But they are necessary to safeguard America’s safety and Pakistan’s stability.

3. They still operate black-ops camps and secret prisons in friendly nations where torture is not illegal and where they can hold prisoners without trial for long periods of time.

4. On February 4, the US Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair, offered confirmation on Wednesday that the U.S. intelligence community is authorized to assassinate Americans abroad who are considered direct terrorist threats to the United States. “We take direct actions against terrorists in the intelligence community,” Blair told lawmakers at a House Intelligence Committee hearing. “If we think that direct action will involve killing an American, we get specific permission to do that.” huffingtonpost.com

Read these carefully. These are all steps the US under the Asst.

Secy of State Robert O’ Blake and even the current Ambassador Butenis would not have the courage to admit to the Sri Lanka public. But as you can see, these are not steps taken by George W Bush but by the current President Obama; a liberal Democrat.

I hope Sri Lanka does not ever compromise on its national security. Please take note. The LTTE terrorists still want to do harm to Sri Lanka from foreign soil.

And nations such as the US, and Britain who are so gungho about Islamic terrorism will not do anything about people who are still plotting to destroy Sri Lanka.
