AFC to take stern disciplinary action

The Asian Football Confederation will take stern disciplinary action against the Football Federation of Sri Lanka due to Sri Lanka Women's Football team's absence in the match against Pakistan, said an official of the Bangladesh Olympic Committee.

It was a walkover to Pakistan and they obtained 3 points and 3-0 match score according to International Olympic Council (IOC).

This is the first time that a walkover has been given at SAG football discipline.

Sri Lanka women's football performance were pathetic. They were humbled by India 8-0 by Nepal and 3-0 by Bangladesh.

The FFSL should think twice before sending women's football team for foreign tournament participation and practise match and training.

Firstly footballers should be guided in the correct path. Without spending big money. It's a big waste.
