Child Protection Society Boys visit HMAS Glenelg

The group of boys who visited Royal Australian Navy patrol boat HMAS Glenelg.

A group of boys from the 'Child Protection Society Boys Home' found their sea legs when they visited Royal Australian Navy patrol boat HMAS Glenelg.

The visiting vessel was docked in the Colombo Harbour from January 28 to 31 as part of a good will visit, which included a series of engagement activities with the Sri Lanka Navy.

Australian Naval officers organized lifeboat and safety equipment demonstrations, a tour of the Captain's control room, and a first hand lesson on how to navigate a war ship.
