PWC on 1st innings

Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa has to be satisfied with a first innings win over Richmond College, Galle in their inter school under 19 cricket match played for the "A.P.M. Peiris Trophy", being the previous holders Cambrians retained the Trophy which they won in 2007.

Continuing at 62 for 2 Cambrians were all out for 187 runs in reply to Richmond total of 124. Ruwarana de Mel hit up a splendid 76 and Nuwantha Peiris was unbeaten on 46 runs. Dileepa Priyadarshana was the pick of the bowlers for Richmondites with 4 for 53.

When stumps were drawn Richmond were 94 for 3 with Pabasara Waduge making 41 runs.

Richmond - 124 and 94/3 in 54 overs (Pabasara Waduge 41, Mahesh Sandaruwan 25 N/O)

PWC - 62/2 overnight 187 all out (Ruwarana de Mel 76, Shehan Jayasuriya 33, Nuwantha Peiris 46 n/o, Dileepa Priyadarshana 4/53 Supin Dissanayake 2/28).
