GUNASINGHE - WIMALASEKARA DIAS Husband of Chandralatha, father of Lakshmi
and Tania and brother of Edwin Dias Gunasinghe, passed away peacefully in
London, UK on 3rd January 2010. W.D. Gunasinghe was the former Commercial
Secretary to Japan 1970 - 1973, Egypt 1977 - 1978, former Czechoslovakia 1982 -
1983, Trade Commissioner to UK 1984 - 1987 and Deputy Director of Commerce,
Ministry of Trade and Shipping in Sri Lanka. Post-retirement, 1991-1997 he
worked as the Project Manager at the UNDP Transport and Planning Centre. His
funeral takes place at 3.30 p.m. Monday 18th January 2010 at The West London
Crematorium, Kensal Green, Harrow Road, London W10 4RA, UK. The three month
memorial service will be held in April 2010 in Sri Lanka. Contact
