Pakistan U-19 trounce Bangladesh

Pakistan Under-19 team beat Bangladesh Under-19 team by 68 runs in
the inaugural encounter of the Under-19 Tri Nation limited over series
which was played at the newly constructed Pallekelle International
Cricket Stadium, Kandy yesterday.
Pakistan batted first and scored 211 all out in 49.4 overs in reply
Bangladesh were bundle out for 143 runs in 38.1 overs Pakistan’s Usm3an
Qadir claimed 3 wickets for 30 runs.
Pakistan opening batsman Baber Azam faced 41 deliveries to score 38
runs with the help of 8 boundaries. Bangladesh right arm medium pace
bowler Abdul Hasan claimed 5 wickets for 50 runs. Bangladesh batsman
Mominul Haque was the top scorer with 44 runs he had 3 boundaries in his
innings. Hamad Azam (38) and Ahmed Shahzad (38) helped Pakistan Under-19
team to pile up 211. Ahmed Shahzad hit one six and three boundaries for
his 33 runs.
