Police suspect foul play

The fire that destroyed three shops near the main bus stand at Ratnapura on Friday night has resulted in a loss of goods and properties worth Rs 2 million, investigations have revealed. Police suspect foul play behind this incident.

Murder of fisherman: Three arrested

China Bay Police yesterday arrested three Naval officers who were allegedly involved in the murder of a fisherman in Trincomalee on November 27. The arrest came after an investigation conducted by a special Police team.
