New Young SC clinch Beach Soccer title

New Young Sports Club, Wennappuwa emerged champions of the Beach Soccer Tournament of the Youth Radio Beach Sports Fiesta by beating Wennappuwa Beach Club by one goal to nil in the final worked off at Marawila recently.

Sixteen teams from Chilaw, Wennappuwa, Marawila and Nattandiya took part in this two day tournament.

The Youth Radio Beach Sports Fiesta was organised by Tharunyata Hetak Organization in collaboration with Asian-German Sports Exchange Program.

The chief guest was the President of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka Hurley Silveira with Miriam Pirpamer as the chief co-ordinator.
