Mercantile Athletic championships

The Mercantile Athletic championships 2009 organized and conducted by Mercantile Athletic Association will be held on October 31 and November 1 at the Sugathadasa stadium. According to President of MAA Ashley Abrew over 1,200 men and women competitors from 35 affiliated firms will be seen in action in novices, championship and veteran categories.

He also said that Ceylon Biscuits Limited the manufacturers of Ritzbury sponsors the two day event for eighth successive year.
