L.B. Sumith Pushpakumara 34 of 380/1, Pahala Imbulgoda, Imbulgoda, has been diagnosed as having Left Postero-Lateral Herniation of the C5/6 Intervertebral Disc, resulting in Compression of the Left C6 Nerve Root, causing pain and numbness in the Left Upper and Lower Limbs. This condition has the potential of getting progressively worse, and could lead to paralysis of the affected limbs.

Consultant Neurosurgeon Dr. Sunil Perera has agreed to perform an operation termed Cervical Discectomy and Fusion relief.

The operation will cost Rs. 550,000. He wishes to seek financial assistance to offset expense that will be incurred for his proposed Spinal Neurosurgical Operation.
