Change attitudes to bring prosperity - Namal Rajapaksa

Tharunyata Hetak Chairman Namal Rajapaksa said youth should change their attitude to achieve prosperity to the Motherland.

"Never think we are backward. we must act with determination, fortitude and perseverance to achieve the highest level of progress", he said.

The Tharunyata Hetak Chairman was speaking at a meeting to mark the first anniversary of Kegalle District youth organization at the Kegalle Town Hall participating as chief guest.

Rajapaksa said now that the LTTE problem is over. All should help the President to achieve the ultimate goal of creating a prosperous, Sri Lanka under one flag.

"We have no time to waste in achieving all our targets in the economic field. We must develop the habit of rising up against all odds, we all should become contributors towards the growth of the economy," he said.

Ministers Athauda Senevirathna, Mano Wijerathna, Duminda Dissanayaka, Sabaragamuwa Chief Minister Maheepala Herat, MP Lalith Dissanayaka, President's Advisor Dr. Jagath Balasuriya, Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council Agriculture Minister Srilal Wickramasingha. Kegalle Municipality Council Chairman G.K. Samarasingha were also present.
