Twelve evading court arrested

Twelve suspects, who were evading court were taken into custody by the Anamaduwa police.

They had been issued warrants for various offences including brewing of illicitly distilled arrack, violating traffic laws, etc.

Some of them had been released after they were produced in court but they had not reported again to courts when they were noticed to be present.
