Reyal bowls SACK to win

Left arm spinner Adil Reyal captured a match bag of 11 for 81 to bowl St. Anthony's College, Kandy to an innings and 28 runs win over Vidyartha College with 4 balls to spare in their inter-school cricket match concluded at Katugastota yesterday.

The Antonians declared at their overnight score of 292 for 4.

Vidyartha College in their turn at the wickets could not cope with the spin of Reyal who wove a web round the Vidyartha batsmen and folded up for 110. Adil Reyal returned the figures of 6 for 36.

Following on, 182 behind Viyartha had hopes of saving the match as long as skipper Thirantha Dissanayake (47) and Kasun Wijekoon (51) were at the wickets. But with their departure, the innings collapsed and were all out for 154 in the second ball of the final over - a match Vidyartha College could have easily saved.
