National stage starts tomorrow

The Dialog President’s Gold Cup final stage the national level commences on Saturday and Sunday at Aluthgama Public grounds. Men’s group A comprising nine teams and nine women’s teams play on this while the Group B matches also with the same number of teams from both categories on October 31 and Nov. 1 at Senanayake MV, Madampe.

The highlight of this year is the participation of four teams in the national stage from Northern Province. The teams qualified to play in this level are Helaviru SC from Periyakulam and United SC from Vavuniya in Group A and Pathmagal SC, Pandanthirappu and Hindu Youth SC from Avaramkal. The semi-finals are scheduled to be played on Nov. 10 at National Youth Council Indoor Stadium while the final will be conducted on Nov. 21 at the same venue.

The teams: Group A Men - Siyane Tharu SC (Western Province), United SC (Northern Province), Sarasavi SC (NCP), Ransamala SC (Eastern Province), Dimuthu SC (Sabaragamuwa Province), Rober SC (Uva Province), Shantha SC (Central Province), Vijaya SC (Wayamba Province), Aruna SC (Southern Province).

Women - Golden Birds SC (Western Province), St. Mathew SC (Southern Province), Aruna SC (Eastern Province), Siyabalanduwa SC (Uva Province), Yoda-Ela SC (NCP), Helaviru SC (Northern Province), Weerakeppetipola SC (Central Province), Sakura SC (Sabaragamuwa Province), Casual Line SC (Wayamba Province).

Group B Men - Siriperakum SC (Wayamba Province), Aruna SC (Eastern Province), Little Garments SC (Uva Province), Sinha SC (NCP), Rantharu SC (Sabaragamuwa Province), Ekamuthu SC (Central Province), Hindu Youth SC (Northern Province), Siriduwa SC (Western Province), Sagara SC (Southern Province).

Women - Vijayaba SC (Southern Province), Pubudu SC (Eastern Province), Maya SC (Sabaragamuwa Province), Randunu SC (NCP), Sumudu SC (Uva Province), Pathmagal SC (Northern Province), Weeraperakum SC (Central Province), Vijaya SC (Wayamba Province), Siyane Tharu SC (Western Province).
