Isipatana Tag Rugby tournament

The second Isipatana Tag Rugby tournament for the Suranga Warnasuriya Memorial trophy will be held on October 25 at Havelock Grounds.

The tournament is organized for the second consecutive time by Group of 2002 of Isipatana College which is exclusively for the Old Boys of the college. The previous year, the event attracted many Golden Green jerseys in the likes of Hisham Abdeen, Dilroy Fernando and Shamly Nawaz to the field.

For many past players who were present it was a memorable reunion as it gave them the opportunity to play along with their old colleagues.

In addition to the Tag Rugby experience the tournament will also create a carnival atmosphere throughout the day.

The Group of 2002 invites old boys of the College and their families to experience superb rugby not just as viewers but as players and to enjoy the carnival atmosphere which promises to keep you hooked all day long.
