Kandy students get Novel Influenza

Health authorities confirmed that three students in a leading school in Kandy have contacted AH1N1 influenza after their blood samples were tested positive.

Anyone experiencing symptoms such as fever, cold, cough and throat infection could be suffering from this disease and should seek prompt treatment from a medical practitioner and take rest, Provincial Director of Health Services Shanti Samarasinghe said.
