Sixteen teams from Provinces in national championships

The Western, Uva, Eastern and Central Provinces completed their
Dialog President's Gold Cup volleyball matches and found the qualifiers
for the men's and women's national championships. The matches were
conducted over the weekend.
The remaining provinces will play their matches on October 16 and 17,
Sabaragamuwa at Nawa Jeewana courts, Pindeniya, Wayamba Province at
Vijaya SC Courts, Koswadiya, North Central Province at indoor stadium in
Anuradhapura and Southern Province at Aruna SC courts, Thalahagamwaduwa.
The winner and runner-up from men's and women's categories will join
the other qualifiers to play in the last stage which will be divided in
to two groups A and B.
The group A matches will commence on October 24 and end on 25 at
public grounds, Aluthgama, while Group B matches are scheduled for
October 31 and November 1 are to be staged at Senanayake MMV court,
Madampe.
The qualified teams for the national level championships are:
Western Province (men): Siriduwa SC, Seeduwa, Siyane Tharu SC,
Gampaha.
Uva Province: Little Garments SC, Bandarawela, Robber SC, Haputale.
Eastern Province: Ran Samanala SC, Kantale, Aruna SC, Rajagalatenne.
Central Province: Ekamuthu SC, Udatalawinna, Shantha SC, Dambulla.
Western Province (women): Siyane Tharu SC, Gampaha, Golden Birds SC,
Radawana.
Uva Province: Siyambalanduwa SC, Sumudu SC, Uva-Paranagama.
Eastern Province: Aruna SC, Rajagalatenne, Pubudu SC, Uhana.
Central Province: Weeraperakum SC, Yatawatte, Weerakeppetipola SC,
Akuramboda.
