Drastic decline in UNP, JVP vote base:

UPFA aims two thirds majority

The UPFA would seek a two-thirds majority mandate from the people at the forthcoming general election, said Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva. The Government is optimistic and positive about obtaining a two thirds majority at the next general election.
