Younus offers to resign

Pakistan cricket captain Younus Khan Tuedsay offered to resign in protest against a meeting called to investigate the team's defeats by Australia and New Zealand in the recent Champions Trophy.

The 31-year-old said he was appalled and disappointed at being summoned by the Pakistan National Assembly's committee on sports.
